MCRC is organising a five days technology awareness programme for members of women self-help groups functioning in and around Vadakadambadi village, Kancheepuram district. This progrogramme is sponsored by “TAMILNADU STATE COUNCIL FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY”

The main of this programme is to popularise S & T interventions for utilization of locally available cellulosic materials for production of Eco-friendly handmade paper products, Charcoal briquetting, Organic manures and Micro propagation of medicinal plants for income generation. This programme will be organized for 100 women SHG members and will be held at TRC-Training Centre, Vadakadambadi during the the 4th - 8th, June 2009.
