Shri A.M.M Murugappa Chettiar Research Centre, in Taramani has conducted an “Orientation Meeting” for ten selected school principals and coordinators on 25th November 2009 with regard to the project “Popularizing Eco -Friendly Biotechnological S & T Intervention for School Waste Recycling and Stimulating Scientific Temper among School Children for Creation of Eco -Friendly Environment” The participants were from central, state and private schools of Chennai.

Dr. K. Perumal, Deputy Director (R & D & administration) delivered the welcome address and Dr. S. Seshadri, Director (R &D) felicitated the function. In the meeting, the Principal Investigator briefly explained about the project and eco-friendly technologies of the project.
