The Science City and Scientific Committee of the festival has nominated MCRC as the Coordinator for “Food and Agriculture” Discipline of the Scientific Committee. MCRC arranged the participation of various organizations under Food and Agriculture sectors exhibited posters, publications, prototypes & working models in the exhibition.

The “Chennai Science Festival-2009” was held from 19th to 22nd February 2009 at Anna University campus, Chennai. This Science Festival-2009 was organized by the Science City, an autonomous organization, under the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Tamil Nadu.
