MYXOMYCETES

      There are nearly 500 species of myxomycetes or dictyostelida form a group of organisms distinct from all other forms of life. Microscopically small, creeping or swimming. They grow from spores and resemble as amoebas or flagellates. They develop into a horizontal or vertical mobile stage.
