Field Characters:

     Above-black, highly glossed with green, bronze and purple. Below-lower breast, belly, flanks and under-tailed covert white.

 Food:

       Carnivorous: Fish, frog, insects, added to with an occasional young or disabled bird or rodent.

 Nesting:

     Season April-May
