TIGERS

The tigers are rich-coloured, well-striped animal with a short coat. The average height of tigers is about 10metres . There are large differences between Indian and other tigers.

These  includes differences in length, height, weight, etc.

The tiger's method of hunting and killing its prey is an astonishing one. It hunts game of all kinds including elephants, gaur, and buffalo. It preys on deer, nilgai, zebra, wild pig, blackbucks, etc.

Ordinarily the tigers hunt between sunset and dawn. Driven by hunger it will eat almost anything, fowl, fish, reptiles, or carrion. Many, in the absence of game animals or from opportunity take to cattle killings. The same applies to man eating, a vice acquired in some circumstances.
