Mangrove Forest

 

Mangroves are assemblages of trees and shrubs that grow in the inter tidal region of tropical and sub-tropical coastlines ,in the areas where river water mixes with sea water . mangroves have two components , mangrove forests and associated water bodies. a group of woody trees and shrubs that can grow well in saline  and water logged condition constitute the forest component .the mangrove frest and associated water bodies are together called the mangrove wetland.
