Minor phyla

INTRODUCTION:

There are several groups of multicellular invertebrate animals, which are usually small sized , relatively ill known and ill-defined. These groups of uncertain relations are known as Minor Phyla. They are often lumped together as miscellaneous phyla in works of Zoology.

 On the basis of the presence or absence of a true coelom the minor phyla fall into three categories:

1.Acoelomate                                                                                            

2.Pseudocoelomate

3.Coelomate
