MAMMILLARIA HAHNIANA A species that has been around in cultivation for a long time and is justifiably still a very popular plant. The compact, globular body is usually solitary and covered in long, whispy, white, hair like spines. In the spring, the plants produce rings of deep carmineflowers around the crown, a beautiful contrast to yhe dense, white, wolly covering. The long,hair-like spines have given it the common name of old lady cactus. |
